Happy New Year everyone!! Hope you all are staying warm (especially in Boston – eeek!!). Today I have for you Korean Rice Cake skewers. They remind me of tteokboki, but they’re sweet and spicy (and grilled). It’s lovely as a bring-along snack, so I hope you guys like it!😊 Also a big thank you to all of you who left me such lovely messages on my last video. I think I get a little nervous in new environments, so I really appreciate all your support ❤️

    1. Happy New Year too you. Yummy rice cake, this is new something for new year!

  2. I’m outside of Boston and it’s finally going to warm up today (58 degrees!) but but down to 25 again in a few days which is still better than below zero. I’m sure you don’t miss that! Would you say this is a Korean bbq sauce that I could put on my husband’s chicken? (gasp! I am in the process of converting him. Red meat and pork have been out for months. Fish and poultry are next to go.)

patty 8873 As I was lamenting over the lack of sun I have here, the BBC actually reported on the bomb cyclone in Boston…I saw clips and interesting that made me feel better about the weather here😝(plus boston has had 2 amazing winters and I knew any year it was about to blow and get back to the norm…or worse….Really sorry, but I hope you’re staying safe and hopefully warm from the snow.). In terms of the sauce, I really like it because it’s sweet and spicy which I can deal with better. It would definitely work on chicken. I used to buy the Korean BBQ sauce from hmart and marinate tofu with it, though it always tastes a bit sweet, but that could work for your husband too:). Good luck on converting😝

  3. omg these look so good! 😀

      Relectrod Thank you!!😊

  4. Yummy!! I bought a pack of rice cakes a while back and haven’t figured out a way to eat it besides traditional the Korean rice cake dish it’s used for.

Hi! May I put in a request? Could you make Taiwanese mustard greens with bean curd? I had this as a cold dish side at a Taiwanese restaurant and would love to recreate it.
