Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake (Vegan and GF) | GoodnessDirect

Found in basically every Swedish coffee shop, this tasty, sticky cake is easy to make in hardly any time.

150 g dairy free margarine
½ cup aqua faba
1 cup gluten free flour
1 ½ cup sugar ¼
½ cup cacao
1 tsp vanilla extract

For serving:
Icing sugar
Almond flakes
Vegan cream or ice cream

Put the oven on 175 degrees and grease a baking tin with some margarine. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and add the aquafaba when it’s off the stove. Sift, flour, 1¼ cups of sugar, vanilla sugar and cacao into the mixture. Pour the batter into the tin and put in the oven for 15-17 minutes. The cake will not rise, but puff up a little. A good sticky cake is crisp on the top but very soft and sticky in the middle of the bottom. Put one cup of berries in a saucepan and melt ¼ cup of sugar with it on low heat. Add icing sugar and almonds on top of the cake and serve with the berry sauce as well as some vegan cream or ice cream.
