    I am glad you tried it so we don’t have to lol. I was going to but we have all these beautiful carbs in our house and like you said it’s too expensive. Balanced vegan diet it the best.

  4. A few years ago before I became vegan I tried the keto diet, worse 6 weeks of my life.

  5. I was put on a diet like keto when I was 12. Which was in the 80’s. I was hungry all the time. You don’t get your fruit, grains only a hand full of veggies. When I’m plant based. I’m never hungry. And my sugar level was low. Was off it for a bit. But back with it. At least you tried. I couldn’t do it. 🙂

Just an FYI, after a week of going low carb, it isn’t uncommon to start feeling tired, or have flu like symptoms, it goes away after a couple of weeks, supposedly, it is your body switching from burning just glucose to burning ketones as well. Not saying this to encourage you to do low carb further, just saying why you may feel tired and not be sleeping well. Thank you for the videos!

    1. Candace S. Yeah had that had in the back of my mind.
      Would want a more ‘scientific’ long term experiment.
