Ingredients:
1 ½ cups maida, sifted
1 ½ tsp soda bi carbonate, level, sifted
¼ tsp salt, level
¼ tsp turmeric pd, level
1 cup ground sugar
10 tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup yoghurt
¼ cup mixed cake fruits, ½ and ½
4 glaced cherries, quartered

Method:
In ½ mixed cake fruits and glaced cherries, mix a little recipe maida and set aside.
In the rest ½ of mixed cake fruit, add a little maida, mix and keep.
In a bowl put maida, soda, salt, turmeric pd, sugar, oil, vanilla essence, yoghurt and beat. Then add ½ mixed fruits and glaced cherries and mix with a steel spoon.
Pour into the prepared tin. Sprinkle ½ cake fruit all over the top of the cake and press just a little.
Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 1 hour : 15 mins.
Then take it out. Cover with a cloth and cool it for 30 mins.
Then cut and serve it.
