  1. The socially awkward part is so true… I really hate that😔I wish people are more open minded and accommodating, or at least not so mean to vegans.
I also experience the anger. I think I’m still at the stage of being angry at people, please share more about that!

This was really nice 🙂 I felt like I was in the room just hanging out listening to you talk about your passions.

I became plant-based solely for health reasons at first and I’ve seen so many improvements and benefits. In the past few months I’ve slowly been doing more research into food production, farms and slaughterhouses and the ethical reasons have definitely become a factor as well.

Since you are plant based for ethical reasons, I’m wondering what your opinion on honey is. I use local raw honey from a small beekeeper/produce farmer so I can’t call myself a true vegan, but I see value in supporting the honey industry as it has a big impact on several crops. There’s a very interesting film about honey and the bee industry on Netflix if you search for the series called “Rotten.”

I’ve really enjoyed your channel and videos and always look forward to watching your content. Thank you for everything you do 💖

  3. 7 years vegan, still waiting for that endless energy xD I eat healthy, I sleep enough, I’m reasonably active. But no, no magical energy kick^^

  4. I’m ‘pesce pollo’ right now, I gave up red meat and most dairy products and eggs (I still accidentally eat it when going out sometimes but it makes me sick now so I try not to) about 6 months ago. So I still eat chicken and fish, but not every day. For me it’s mostly for health reasons, I had terrible allergies from having 2 cats and going plant based has cured me of my sinus congestion. I’ve also gotten rid of my heartburn and bowel struggles by going plant based, so probably I was lactose intolerant before but never got diagnosed. I’ve also noticed I don’t need coffee to ‘wake up’ any more, like you said, and the last time I drank coffee socially I had jitters for hours because it affects me so much more intensely now. Time to switch to decaf! Lol

I do also respect the ethical part, it’s just that not everyone has the financial ability to go vegan so I’m more interested in promoting plant-based meals than actual veganism. I plug your channel to everyone that’ll listen though cuz your recipes are always simple yet delicious!

  5. I totally relate about the criticism. I get it ALL the time! Lots of the criticism comes from my family too! So annoying…

  6. girl, you spoke to my soul in this vid. i had every single experience you did, the criticism, the thought process on having a passion, and that Skinny Bitch book! Love your vibe!

  7. 100% am so so much more interested and excited by food since going vegan!! it’s so much fun hahah
