Happy New Year Guys & Girls!
Hope you’re all having a fantastic start to the year! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve taken on the vegan diet this January. It’s something Mo and I have wanted to do for some time now – think less restrictive diet and more a lifestyle change. As promised, I’ll be posting weekly vegan recipes on here in the hopes of inspiring some of you lovely peeps to join us on our journey!
This week I made Vegan pizza and it was de-lish! I got the recipe from:
190g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
½ tsp fine sea salt
3.5g fast-action dried yeast
1 tsp caster sugar
4 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing and drizzling
110ml warm water
For the onion relish
1.5kg onions, sliced
4 garlic cloves, sliced
1 tbsp soft light brown sugar
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
200g non-dairy mozzarella, grated
Additional ingredients (optional):
1 Maggi Cube
Tomato Puree paste
To simplify this recipe you can also use ready-made pizza dough (just make sure it’s vegan friendly)!
